RETINA WORK SHOP ON 29.01.2023
Academic research committee of AP Ophthalmic Society in association with Narayana Medical College Nellore, conducted a Workshop on RETINA with Hands on Training for Postgraduate students at Narayana Medical College Nellore, On 29 January 2023, from 9am to 6pm
Famous Vitreoretinal Surgeons from Andhra Pradesh,Telangana & Maharastra participated as faculty and explained about various methods of Retinal Examination and Retinal disorders .

- Prashanth , Nagpur , Wide field fundus Photography
120 Postgraduate Students of Government and private Medical Colleges from Nellore, Tirupati, Guntur , Kadapa, Kurnool, Nandyala, Chittoor , Anantapur and Kuppam attended this Work shop.
About 40 Ophthalmologists from Nellore and Tirupati Districts also participated in this Programme.
A Quiz was conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners
     After lunch , Hands on training was given by senior faculty members on Phacoemulsification , OCT, Indirect Ophthalmoscopy ,B-scan , Retinal LASERS, Intravitreal Injections, Vitrectomy etc  to all the Postgraduate students
 A.P.M.C allotted 2 CME credit hours to this Programme, which was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr.S.P.Rao , the Dean and Dr.Hari Prasad Reddy, Medical Superintendent .
Dr.G.Chandra Sekhar , professor , President, Nellore Ophthalmic Association , Dr.Gopala Krishna , Dr.P.Rajasekhar & Dr.D.Udaya Kumar , HOD and other  Faculty and Students of Narayana Medical College , actively  participated in this programme to make it Grand success .
