National Youth Week Celebrations

National Youth Day is observed in India on January in remembrance of Swami Vivekananda. The ideas and ideals of Swami Vivekananda inspired and encourage and the youth of our country. The students of schools and colleges delightfully enthusiastically celebrate the event.

Narayana Medical institutions observed National Youth Day inauguration on 11 January 2020 at Narayana Medical College, Nellore. The programme commenced with a prayer song followed by a welcome classical dance. Chief Guest of the programme was Professor R. Sudarsana Rao garu Vice-Chancellor, V. S University, Nellore. Guest of honours includes Dr. S.P. Rao, Dean, Narayana Medical College, Dr. B. Ajay Reginald, Principal, Narayana Dental College, Nellore, Dr A. Uday Sankar, NSS Prog. Co-ordinator V. S University, Nellore, Dr. S. Indira, Dean, Narayana College of Nursing, Nellore. Dr.S.Baskar, Principal, Narayana College of Allied Health Sciences and NSS Programme Co-ordinator, Narayana Medical College, Nellore, Dr RVS Krishna Kumar, Professor, NSS Programme Co-ordinator, Narayana Dental college. Mr.Sai Kumar Reddy, District Rama Krishna sevasamithi, Vice president, Nellore.

The chief guest Professor R. Sudarsana Rao garu Vice-Chancellor, V. S University, Nellore, stressed the importance of following the words and ways of Swami Vivekananda to inculcate and implement the moral values among young generation and care about the environment. After the dynamic and thought-provoking deliberations by the guests, award distribution ceremony followed. The Best Youth club award for the district conferred to Pinakini youth welfare association and the best Youth award in an individual category to Mudavarthi. Ravi Theja Naik, Narayana Medical College and Dr. Embeti Srikanth, Narayana Dental College and Batchanaboina Divya Vani, Narayana College of Nursing. All the guests were felicitated.
