Dr Vadlamudi Krshna Murthy is a Doctorate in Economics and Law graduate in Labour Laws with arouncj 30 years of experience in Academic administration and HR with organizations like National Institute of Rural Development, Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences, ICFAI University, Kamineni Group of Institutions,Global Hospitals and Olive Hospital. He is a veteran in academics, Industry an administration with nearly 27 years of experience in Government, public and private organizations in the field of training, General Administration, security management, Facilities Management and Human Resources. He is proficient in the administration and management of large size facilities, units, utilities etc.

He visited Narayana Medical College, Nellore on 27th October, 2020 and addressed the faculty members and administrators regarding the intricacies involved in the NAAC Assessment. He spoke at length the details of the various components of the NAAC assessment. He also detailed the methodologies involved in the revised NAAC assessment system for health care institutions.

Dr Krishna Murthy was introduced to the audience by Dr S P Rao, Dean, Narayana Medical College. Dr Rao explained the results of the NIRF ranking and the position secured by the Narayana Medical College. He showed the various NIRF criteria and the scores attained. The scores regarding the research, Innovation and perception were below the expectations. He pointed out the importance of documentation and the utility of visibility on the internet. The presence of Narayana Medical College and the academic and co-academic activities undertaken need a showcase at the institutional web site. in the present days of social sites activism on the internet, a dynamic, user-friendly website is essential. Reflecting through the rankings of the NIRF, Dr Rao pleaded the faculty to get involved in the quality improvement of the research output. He cautioned that any research paper if not published in the Scopus indexed scientific journal, will not be accepted. Authors of such articles should be encouraged to send their articles to better impact journals.

Later, Dr Murthy interacted with the IQAC committee members. He again reiterated the revised criteria of NAAC for health care institutions. The Annual reports sent to NAAC need revisiting. As the time available is short, the work should start on a war footing. His emphasis on the data entry in excel formats is well appreciated. Finally, he interacted with the members and appraised themabout the future course of action.

Dr Krishna Murthy also indicated during his interaction about the possibility of seeking autonomous institution status for Narayana Medical College, Nellore from the University Grants Commission.
