Narayana Medical College, Nellore celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2025 from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM at the Synthetic Courts, in line with the directives of the National Medical Commission, New Delhi and Dr. NTR UHS, Vijayawada.

Trained yoga instructors were invited to demonstrate various yoga practices, and were later felicitated for their valuable contribution.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 225 members, including teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, nursing personnel, and students, promoting the spirit of wellness and holistic health.

Dr. R. Viswa Kumar, Vice Principal; Dr. Ramakrishna Baru, Professor & HOD, Radiology; Dr. K. Durga, Professor & HOD, Pathology; Mr. Sandesh Raikar, Administrative Officer; Mr. Z. Silvi Babu, Physical Director; and Dr. D. Balakrishna, NSS Coordinator were present for the event.
