Graduation day Report

The dawn of the morning of 28th March, 2016 marked a memorable day of one of the premier medical institutions, Narayana Medical College being the 11th graduation day for MBBS students of 2010 batch. It was a proud moment of our college to announce that 129 students were passing out through the portals of our institution well equipped to deal with Clinical care and to serve the country.

Principal of the Institution Dr.G.Veera Nagi Reddy delivered the presidential address and presided the function. While introducing the chief guest, Dr.Sreeram Satish, Addl. Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Sri Ramachandra university, Dr.J.S.N.Murthy who was the chief guest on the occasion requires no further introduction. An eminent cardiologist and recipient of various prestigious National and International awards, he since assuming the office of Vice Chancellor of university has brought in lot of reforms.

Sri Dr.J.S.N.Murthy, Hon’ble Vice-chancellor Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai graced this occasion as Chief Guest. He called on the young graduates to serve at least for some time in the rural areas. Stressing the need to look beyond the urban areas, he asked the doctors to be more service oriented. Praising the management for the best of the infrastructure and the facilities provided in the college, he applauded the efforts by the faculties and the students for their stupendous achievement. Congratulating the students, he asked them to gain more clinical knowledge before embarking on a professional journey.


Dr.P.Narasimha reddy, Medical Superintendent addressed the graduates and administered oath with them.


Dr.G.Subramanyam, Director of the Narayana Medical institutions, Dr.S.Satish Kumar Addl Medical superintendent, Dr.S.Vijaya Kumar, Academic Coordinator,Dr.D.Ramamohan Addl .Medical superintendent and Dr.Venugopala Sharma Vice-principal of the institution were also present in the function.

The students along with their parents and relatives presented in great numbers and enthusiasm. The area was brimming with anticipation and happiness. The college wore a festive look.

Dr.Makani Tanuja bagged the Best outgoing student of this batch.
