Ethics Awareness and Sensitization Program for CRMI's and Postgraduates - 09th - Mar 2023

Ethics awareness programme was conducted for outgoing CRMIs and 2020-21 batch of Postgraduates on 09-03-2023. Dr.I.Anil Kumar Reddy, Member of APMC, Dr.SP Rao, Dean of the Institution and Dr.B.Hari prasad Reddy, superintendent of the Hospital were the delegates of the session. A total of 257 CRMIs and 129 postgraduates accounting to a total of 386 participated in the programme. Dr.Anil Kumar Reddy addressed the participants of the program about the professionalism and ethics are caught by watching your teachers and seniors and not taught formally. Dr.SP Rao, dean addressed the graduates that as a member of this profession, a physician must recognize responsibility to patients first and foremost, as well as to society, to other health professionals, and to self. Ethics are also important in the conduct of medical research. Ethics has always been an essential component of medical practice. Ethical principles such as respect for persons, informed consent, and confidentiality are basic to the physician–patient relationship. The program concluded with proposal of vote of thanks by Dr.K.Jithendra, Asst Medical superintendent of the Hospital.
