Cadaveric oath and cadaveric prayer was conducted in the department of Anatomy on 31.10.2025 for the 1st MBBS students of 2025-2026 batch. Dr. K. Ashalatha professor & Hod of the department of anatomy headed the programme
Dr. G. Sudheer kumar was the anchor for this programme. He first called upon all the faculty to introduce themselves. Dr. L. Hema professor of Anatomy spoke to the students enlighting them about the importance of body donation and the value of a cadavers.
The cadaveric oath and prayer are expressions of respect and gratitude offered by medical students to the body donors who serve as the first teacher in anatomy
Dr. R. Suman Babu professor of Anatomy conducted the cadaveric prayer. The cadaveric prayer is a heartfelt tribute thanking the donor for their noble act of contributing to medical education even after death. Together, they instill values of compassion, ethics and reverence for human life in every budding medical professional.
Cadaveric oath was pledged to the students by Dr. K. Ashalatha professor & head of Anatomy Department. cadaveric oath reminds students to treat the cadaver with dignity, maintain confidentiality, and use the knowledge.
