We were honored to welcome Dr. Capt. Shaik Shahid, an alumnus of the 2017 MBBS batch, currently serving as a Medical Officer in the Indian Army, who delivered an insightful guest lecture on the topic: “A Brief Note on Armed Forces Medical Services”.

Held on 17th June 2025 at the Louis Pasteur Gallery, the session aimed to:

• Provide an overview of the structure and functions of the Armed Forces Medical Services
• Highlight the challenges and advancements in the field of military medicine
• Inspire and inform aspiring students about pursuing a career in military medicine

The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of around 276 students and CRRIs, who gained valuable insights into the dynamic and rewarding field of military healthcare.

The program was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. P. Sreenivasulu Reddy, Vice Principal Dr. R. Viswa Kumar, and Administrative Officer Mr. Sandesh Raikar, who encouraged students to explore opportunities in the Armed Forces and contribute to national service through medical excellence.
