Following the guidelines of Dr.NTRUHS, Department of Biochemistry has organized Zonal CME, on 29-03-2025 confined to zone 2 with prior intimation for approval of 2 credit hours by AP Medical Council.  Session lasted for 8 hours including lunch break commencing from 9 AM.  Dr.P.Sasikala , Professor & HOD , Department of Physiology has been appointed as  observer for the proceedings of the academic events by APMC. 

Theme of the CME being “Nutrition and Clinical Implications”, Dr.K.Madhavi, Professor & HOD, Department of Biochemistry, ACSR , Nellore has been the guest speaker of the day delivering talk on Recent Advances of the Management of Obesity.   Dr.T.Sunanda, HOD Department of Endocrinology and Dr.Z.Siddhu Nikith, Assistant Professor, Department of Endocrinology Enlighted on PCOD and Obesity in childhood  respectively.  

Dr.D.Raja Rajeswari, Professor ,Dr.T.Sharmila Krishna, Profssor Dr.S.Veeresh, Assistant Professor, and Dr.K.Aruna Reddy, Assistant Professor form the Department of Biochemistry, spoke on topics like Nutrition and information, Food additives, Nutrition development in health and disease and Selenium supplementation in thyroid disorders respectively that for most relevant for the current practice, addressing delegates as many as 269.  The concluding session was by Dr.P.Sreenivasa Rao speaking on Neutraceuticals.   Concluded by vote of thanks by Department HOD Dr.R.Viswa Kumar.
