3rd Revised Basic Course Workshop & AETCOM module Program

3rd Revised Basic Course Workshop & AETCOM module was conducted by the department of Medical Education, Narayana Medical College under aegis of Regional Centre for Medical Education Technology, Andhra Medical College, Vishakhapatnam with the approval by Medical Council of India from July 1st to 4th, 2019. Everyday program was started at 8.30AM and closed by 5.30PM at Learning Hall, Medical Education Unit. Inaugural function was graced by the Dean Dr.V.Surya Prakasa Rao and the Observer from Medical Coucil of Indial Dr.P.Bala Murali Krishna. Total 30 participants from various specialties of Narayana Medical College & General Hospital undergone this training program.

All participants were actively participated throughout the process of training. Total 9 Resource persons were participated to deliberate their presentations in this workshop. Group activities were conducted on the merits & demerits of Exist exam for Indial Medical Graduate. For each presentation the group activities were done by forming small groups. The interactive sessions among the participants and Resource Persons were very much interested through out the program. Last day of the program i.e. 04.07.2019 many sessions were conducted on AETCOM module by focusing on its advantages and role of AETCOM module for progression of a competent Indian Medical Graduate. Simulated paper cases were discussed to identify the ethical violations while dealing with the patients to the deliver the health care.

Final program was very much interesting in the form of open house discussion and filled in feed back forms were collected from all the participants as usual as every day of this program. Validictory function was conducted in the presence of the Dean, MCI Observer, Resource Persons of Medical Education Unit and Participants. All the participants were happy with their learning process in all the four days program. Finally participants Certificates were distributed to all the participants and Resource Persons, by the Dean and the Observer from MCI.
