Hence devotion and commitment to improvement rather than mere medical college administrative control is the basis for devising procedures and instruments for assuring quality. The right balance between the health and growth of medical college needs to be struck. The IQAC has to ensure that whatever is done in the medical college for “education” is done efficiently and effectively with high standards. In order to do this, the IQAC has established procedures and modalities to collect data and information on various aspects of medical college functioning.

The coordinator of the IQAC is having a major role in implementing these functions. The IQAC is deriving major support and contribution from all the heads of the departments and the faculty working in these functioning units. The operational features and functions of IQAX are broad-based facilitating towards academic excellence.

The Narayana Medical College is regularly submitting the AQAR every year from date of Accreditation every year. IQAC is closely knitted with the functional Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The timely submission of Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQARs) is one of its activity.
