PARENT–TEACHER MEET-2018

A parent teacher meeting was held on 21st February, 2018 at Gray’s Lecture gallery between 4-5pm. The dais was occupied by Honourble Principal Dr.G.VeeraNagi Reddy, Vice Principal and Professor of Microbiology Dr.K.Jinthendra, Prof. & HOD Forensic Medicine Dr.S.V.Phanindra, Prof. & HOD Pharmacology Dr.B.L.Kudagi, Prof & HOD Pathology Dr.V.Shanthi, Professor of Microbiology Dr.Vasundara and Associate Professor of Community Medicine Dr.S.Bhaskar.

MINUTES OF THE MEETING:

  1. Attendance:
    i) As per university guidelines 75% attendance is mandatory to attend the examinations where the 25% exemption was given for health problems. Every month attendance will be directly sent to the University and no changes will be done by college.
    ii) During the first year itself a unique code was given to every parent to monitor the monthly attendance of their ward, the access should be with parents only.
  2. Biometric System:
    To overcome the proxies those are being used in the biometric systems (thumb registration) we’re coming with advanced biometric systems (facial-Iris Identification) to install at Central Library and in Examination halls as well to record their attendance instantly and thus no proxy can be carries out. The parents of particular ward will receive the attendance immediately as their ward is present at the examination.
  3. Vehicle Registration:
    All the vehicles of the Hostellers and students must get registered at security desk to monitor their outings and incoming timings and to prevent the unwanted issues with unknown vehicles.
  4. Hostel Timings:
    Outing timings should be followed strictly by students, security and in-charge faculty as well.
  5. Marks:Internal marks will be directly sent to the university immediately after declaration by HOD and no changes will be done by institution against university rules.
  6. Parents should cross check their contact numbers in the college records to get easy access regarding their ward and regular updates from the institution.
  7. Students are not allowed to use their mobile phones during the teaching hours which were already taken seriously; if it is repeated necessary actions will be taken against student.
  8. Feedback & Queries:

    Faculty were asked regarding SVMP programs by parents, attendance backlogs due to SVMP services where their ward lost the attendance followed by explanation given by faculty that attendance will be added to the students who attends the rural services and also the parents were also assisted that those students will get additional 5 marks for their services.
