Narayana Medical College, 20 21 & 22 November 2025
The Medical Education Unit (MEU) of Narayana Medical College successfully conducted the Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) from 20th to 22nd November 2025, as mandated by the National Medical Commission.
Dean of NMCH, Dr.P.Sreenivasulu Reddy, as officer incharge and Dr.V.Mahidhar Reddy, Coordinator of Medical Education Unit, supervised and organized the programme respectively.
Dr. Swaminathan, Convenor of RCMET (Regional Centre for Medical Education Technologies), MMC, served as the NMC-appointed Observer for the course.
A total of 29 faculty participants representing Pre-clinical, Para-clinical, Clinical, and Super-speciality departments attended the three-day workshop. The programme focused on enhancing faculty competencies in teaching–learning methods, assessment strategies, curriculum planning, and educational leadership.

The BCME was conducted over three days, aligned with NMC guidelines, with a blend of interactive lectures, demonstrations, group activities, hands-on sessions, and rapporteur reports.
Day 1: 20 November 2025

Key Highlights

Conclusion
The BCME (20–22 November 2025) was conducted successfully with enthusiastic participation and effective facilitation by trained MEU faculty under the observation of RCMET, MMC. The programme contributed significantly to capacity building in medical education and reinforced the commitment of Narayana Medical College to excellence in teaching, assessment, and educational governance.
