2nd Revised Basic Course Workshop & AETCOM module Program

2nd Revised Basic Course workshop & AETCOM module was conducted by the Department of Medical Education, Narayana Medical College under the auspices of Medical Council of India from 25th to 28th July 2018 between 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM at Learning Hall. Inaugural function was conducted and graced by the Principal, Dr.G.Veera Nagi Reddy, and the observer from MCI Dr.Dhanya Sree, resource person from regional centre, Vishakapatnam. Total 30 participants from various specialities of Narayana Medical College underwent this training program. Participants were very much enthusiastic and actively involved in the entire process of training on recent methods in Medical education as prescribed by MCI in Vision 2015 document. Seven persons were contributed their services in this program by delivering lectures and participating in group activity. Group activities were conducted on the merits and demerits of Exit exam for Indian medical graduates after the completion of course. Another topic for group dynamics was on integrated teaching Entire program was coordinated by Dr.P.Sreenivasulu Reddy, co-coordinator Medical Education Unit. Group activities were conducted and many lectures were delivered by the enthusiastic resource persons. Interactive sessions were very much interesting throughout the program. On 28-7-2018 AETCOM module was discussed in detail with its advantages and it’s role to produce a competent Indian medical graduate. Simulated paper cases were discussed to identify ethical violations while dealing with the patient to deliver the health care.

Finally the program entered into open house discussion and filled in feedback forms were collected from all the participants. Valedictory function was conducted in the presence of Principal, Observer, resource persons and participants. All the participants were expressed their achievements in these four days program. Finally participation certificates were distributed to all the participants.
